About Splashy Fish

Splashy Fish takes the Flappy Bird formula and turns it on its side. Your clownfish swims down the water column while a current keeps dragging it left. Your one action, splash, pushes it right for a moment. Thread the gaps in the coral reefs, chained anchors and moored mines that scroll up the screen as you descend.

The deeper you go, the darker the water gets. The bright reef shallows fade into a purple twilight, but everything stays readable. On a phone held upright the board fills the screen; on a desktop it sits in a window beside your score and depth.

The fish, coral and mines are chunky three.js toy shapes with ink outlines and soft shadows, in the same art style as Gig Ambulance.

Tips

  • Short, regular taps beat long bursts. The current never lets up.
  • Look one gap ahead, not at the one you are passing.
